Laced with timber arches and glazed all the way round, the space belongs to daylight and the view by day, while after dark its distinctive lighting sets the mood. Through the large wrap-around glazing you see the lake and the floodplain trees from everywhere, so the light, the weather and the seasons all become part of the day. Outside the wild floodplain hums; inside a climate-controlled, comfortable and well-equipped space awaits, with built-in sound, projection and Wi-Fi blending quietly into the design so you never have to think about the tech.

The event does not stop at the walls

The waterside grounds next to the building are ideal for an outdoor ceremony, a reception or an evening chat right by the water, under the floodplain trees. Thanks to the marina the day can be combined with activities on the water, guests can even arrive by boat, and the marina’s own stays, from tree houses to floating houses, are there when it is time to rest.
